About

Lisa Michele Smith resides in Connecticut with her two teenage sons and two dogs. Orginally from Queens, NY, she settled in Connecticut after her discharge from the United States Navy. She received her Bachelor of General Studies in Communication from Eastern Connecticut State University and her Master of Fine Arts in Professional Writing from Western Connecticut State University. She bummed around in a variety of jobs throughout the years as she tried to find her place in the universe, mainly with federal and state government, before she just resigned herself to sticking with higher education. To pay the bills, since writing doesn’t instantly bring riches, she decided to teach and is now an adjunct instructor of English Composition. She is currently focusing on writing and photographic endeavors.

I have spent the my afternoon reading your blog. It was a true pleasure. I guess you are now divorced since you made that nice comment for Sandra Bullock, LOL. Good for you, you can now focus on you and move on to bigger and better things. As for your ex, who cares he probably moved on too. He is a man, they always do.

But you write so beautifully, you must continue, don’t just blog, write more. send your stories to magazines, newspapers, write a book. When I read your blogs I feel I can relate. You must find a way out there. You have got to find a way to get noticed. Your passion in your writing must be read. Please continue! Send your stories wherever you get a chance to. I am pretty sure there is an audience waiting to listen to your stories besides me.
